Events

At JFCS, we understand the importance of community involvement. Not only do we provide ongoing daily assistance to community members in need, but we also conduct numerous community activities in which you can participate.

If you would like to volunteer to help in one of the activities listed below or to find out what other ways you might be able to help, please call 520-795-0300 x 249.

JFCS Presents our 66th Anniversary Celebration

Volunteer Appreciation Event
Each year, volunteers contribute hundreds of hours to the programs at JFCS and provide an important link to the community. Among those activities volunteers prepare new refugee families for life in the United States; answer questions for the Jewish Information and Assistance Program; visit homebound elderly; deliver food to prepare the Passover Seder; and provide role modeling and mentoring for young women who have been victims of violence.

As a way of thanking our volunteers for their generosity, JFCS hosts an Annual Volunteer Recognition Luncheon JFCS Main Office location. Click here for more information.

Donor Appreciation Event
This special event will occur in the Fall of 2007. For more information, please call 795-0300 ext. 263.

Passover Food Drive

Purim Diaper Drive
Children and adults greatly benefit from this drive as there are no government assistance
program provides diapers. In 2005, over 700,000 diapers were distributed to low-income families and social service agencies. Volunteers and JFCS staff gather diapers for this event throughout Tucson.
