The purpose of the
institute is to meet, at reasonable cost, the continuing
educational and supervisory needs of those who serve
others. Because the ultimate beneficiaries of the
Institute are those served by seminar participants, the
goal of ICE is to help create the best educated, most
informed and skilled human service professionals
possible.
Our objectives include:
- Offering social
service professionals a diversified, broadly-based
and comprehensive program of courses
- Providing training
and supervision in various aspects of human service
and mental health care
- Working
collaboratively with the outstanding professionals
of JFCS and other community agencies
- Fostering the
highest professional and academic standards among
social service professionals
- Encouraging faculty
and students to utilize their unique, individual
talents
- Offering attendance
certificates for State certification
