Exploring the Therapeutic Power of Music – Presented by Anne B Parker, MA, MHSA, MT-BC, FAMI

Music can be magic. But, is there "magic music"? We all know that music has the power to quickly and deeply effect us physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. But how do we know what music to use, and when? This session will explore the psychophysiology of music and the use of recorded music in mental health treatment with a Board Certified Music Therapist with over 30 years of clinical experience. You will leave with a fuller understanding of how to make more intentional choices of music to use to support all kinds of clients and therapeutic processes.
