“It was once said that the moral test of Government is how that Government treats those who are in the dawn of life, the children; those who are in the twilight of life, the elderly; and those who are in the shadows of life, the sick, the needy and the handicapped”.

 Substance Abuse Services

The Jewish Addiction Support Services (J.A.S.S.) Program

Substance abuse is an equal opportunity affliction that affects people of all religious, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds. J.A.S.S. offers outreach and education for Jewish individuals, families, and significant others struggling with the use/abuse of alcohol and other drugs within the context of Jewish spiritual and cultural values, and provides referrals to existing, mainstream resources as appropriate. The J.A.S.S. program is funded in part by a Compelling Needs Grant from the Jewish Federation of Southern Arizona.

If you would like more information on J.A.S.S., please contact:
Madeline Cohen, MSW, LCSW, at 886-5111, ext. 427.
