Employment
Skills-Building
Although the transition to the United States can be
difficult, we believe that self-sufficiency is an
important first step toward self-sustainability. To that
end, JFCS provides employment assessments and job
placements for refugees. This program provides financial
assistance, case management, and job development.

family
Refugees often need assistance in adapting to the their

transition, please contact 795-0300 x 253
Donate Household
Items
Refugee families typically arrive in America with little
to no possessions. That’s why the donation of household
goods is so important. Your donation of household items
and services is always welcome and greatly appreciated.
We will accept many items in good usable condition such
as home furnishings for Refugee Resettlement Services.
Free pickup is available for large items.
If you would like to donate household items to the
Refugee program, please contact 795-0300 x 252.
